It's that time again.  One of the most anticipated Pacific Northwest photo competitions is underway.  Portland's Oregonian newspaper's 2010 Travel Photo Contest for amateur photographers has begun.  The rules and submission forms are now available.  If you are at least 18 years old as of the entry date, have not earned money from your photography within the last two years and not an employee of the competition sponsors, you are eligible to enter up to 3 of your best travel photography images.

Submission Deadline:  Postmarked or delivered to a sponsor's location NO later than, 5:00 p.m. (PT), Friday, February 26, 2010.  Winners will be announced after March 18, 2010.

• Faraway Places
• Making Waves
• Celebrating Oregon
  

One Grand Prize:  a trip for 2 to Maui, Hawaii.

Prizes for each of the three categories:

• Three First Prize winners: $600 gift certificates to Pro Photo Supply or Shutterbug
• Three Second Prize winner: $300 gift certificates to Pro Photo Supply or Shutterbug
• Three Third Place Prize winners: $200 gift certificate to Pro Photo Supply or Shutterbug
